Absolutely Amazing

This is by far the best thing I've heard from you so far. It's incredibly creative--I think both songs have a sort of mystifying effect to quote the reviewer below me. And when you put them together, there's a certain awkwardness and darkness that gets highlighted, as I think both songs have that "playful, but on the verge of going dark at any moment." You really brought that out, and the instrument choices were perfect as well.
Just amazing all around.

Thank you so much for a listening to a my song!!! lol you can't give an impression of mario very well in typing. I am glad you liked it. :D

Nice

Its a cute little tune and it gets the job done. I think this would work nicely in a Christmas flash too so I'd hope someone picks it up and does that.
I think you should experiment with your drum kit a bit though--it's a bit standard sounding. Perhaps put some sort of effect on it to get it away from that "preset" drum loop sound. It's fine here but just for future work I mean so you don't find yourself stifled by similar percussion throughout.
Awesome Christmas song. ^___^

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

yeah... I've never been to good with percussion, it is definately one of the things I need to focus on. I am glad you liked the song though thanks for the review!!!

Pleasant

I agree with Chronamut on the trumpets. But it doesn't really bother me too much. I think at :52 though, if you aren't going to solo some new instrument or something, you should really bump up that background melody's volume. I think that's the empty part for me--and I thint that would also emphasize that pretty quieter segment after.
Overall, I really liked it, and great job.

You're right.

I try to ease things in too much.

Thanks for the review!

That repeating pattern

is awesome. Whenever I write a piano song, I try to do that in my song at least once because I love the sound of a repeated rhythm with a constantly changing lead, and the majority of this song is just that, so it just naturally appeals to me.
Great work. As for any advice, maybe stagger the volume of certain random notes--I haven't tried this yet, but i plan to on my next piano composition. I think it would be more realistic since people aren't machines and can't always play every note with the same strength, some will be lighter than others so the volume should constantly fluctuate slightly, you know?
Awesome composition.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Life would be much easier if you could record with this quality right? I did write it after all, I can play this on the piano. Thanks for the review. :D

Great Start

I think the composition itself is pretty neat and the repeating patterns with slight changes are quite nice. I think throwing in a low chord every once in awhile wouldn't hurt, but you might just be going for a very quick and light piece and not want to throw it off with that. But it's just a suggestion for an otherwise great start.

Thanks for the suggestion! I really am lost as far as how I want to finish this, but I will consider what you said. Many thanks!

First Attempt

Definitely not bad. Technically speaking, it's all right, and it sounds good. I think as melodies are concerned though, its very hard, at least for me, to latch on to any melody or pattern for the first minute until the background instrument kicks in, so it ends up sounding a bit random. Which could be what you're going for anyway. But if not, I might suggest a very low background instrument here, like a bass, playing something easily distinguished.
I think it's a pretty cool piece.

AliceMako responds:

Glad you like it :3

The bassline actually forms the melody for the track, it plays the exact same riff
throughout and i only deviate from it in four short segments.

If i'd add an additional bassline the whole thing becomes even more cluttered
soundwise and i'd kinda lose the point of killing the beat, building up to the lead synth, so yeah, the first minute is probably a bit confusing as is ^_^;;

It's a good pointer though and i'll keep it in mind if i do something like this
again <3

Beautifully Demented

Its been a long time since I've heard a song this disharmonious and odd, and yet it's perfect. Definitely haunting. And when it kicks into the heavier sections, it's flawless. One of my favorite songs. I apologize, I can't think of any constructive criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to end.

thanks tsr :)

Beautiful

I havent heard the original, but this is absolutely relaxing and pretty. I think the :37 instrument should have a slight filter or something on it, but that's just a matter of preference. It's mixed a little loud I think, but once the other instruments kick in, it's not as distracting. And the tempo increase section sounds wonderful.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

thanks for the review. And yeah, I guess it just might be a little loud... I am very glad you liked the song!!!

Very nice

I really enjoyed your more orchestral sections, and I think it's composed very well. I think the very quick triples on the piano don't quite fit though--seems a bit forced. And I think the main dubstep section around :24 is great, but I would have liked to hear a little more playing behind it, only because the pitch never gets very low, so it feels like its a bit hollow there. Otherwise I think it's a cool piece, and I love the name as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll work on adding in some tunes and update the submission

Favorited

Absolutely a fan. It's very unique... jazzy, still rocking... Personally I would've placed this in the ambient section because of the way everything pretty much blends together into a background vibe at some points.
Sorry, I don't have any criticism, this piece pretty much nails it for me. And the distortion is right on. lol

GodBlock responds:

:D Thanks man, to be honest this isn't my normal style but I've been away from my guitar for too long and thought I'd attempt something a little different I'm very happy with how the piece tuned out and I'm very happy you enjoyed it

EDIT::I've re-genred? the song to ambient maybe it fits better there :)
