Hmm..

It was generally pretty boring for me up until the progression that started around the 1:36 mark. It was really solid after that though. I think you would have benefited a bit more by loosening up on the opening style a little earlier and giving more time for the ending style. But this is a fairly minor criticism. It was still quite enjoyable. ^__--

The rhythm

I just wasnt feeling it. I think the reason it didn't come across so well to me was that your two guitar instruments clashed with each other for me. I hated the sound of them together. When one dropped out and left the other alone, it sounded really good! I just dont like the "chorus" segments I suppose.
I would switch out the rhythm guitar for something deeper in the lower range of sound, and less shrill.

Great notes

and writing. But it needed to be much louder. It was a powerhouse, but it lacked the impact it could have had. Especially in the percussion.
I think what this needed most of all was a background atmosphere of bass notes. The guitar handles the high range of sound well, and the piano compliments it well, but the drums are too low and as a result nothing really rounds out the bottom level of the sound.
Pretty enjoyable piece overall though.

5 because I only had one small critique about this one.
I love your melodies and compositional choices. I just really dislike bass drum hits. I think a softer bass drum hit or even better a lower pitched bass hit would have been more effective in my opinion. Sounds a bit woodpecker-ish to me. lol
But overall very good!

Yeah I spent ages trying to sort out the damn bass drum but I just couldnt get it perfect and in the end I just got it as close as I could to not sounding horrible and left it.. I could have changed each bass hit but I was being lazy I admit.

I enjoyed this greatly. Bought the classic B/K game on xboxlive like last month, and this is a great mix. I especially like your instrument choice for the leads. It's solid enough to be taken seriously, but still "cute" enough to reflect the sillyness of the game. Nice job

It was peaceful and soothing. The guitar was a on the verge of being a bit too harsh sounding to fit the piece in some parts, but I think it was still fine. Very beautiful work.

a 5. You should get this into hollywood somehow. Could definitely be like a new Gladiator theme. It's really good, and it evolves smoothly throughout before coming back down. My only critique is the early percussion. At least to me, it seemed like it came in at awkward times, breaking the tempo of the piece. But it was all very nice.

Hmm...

I very much liked what the piano was doing and the electronic part after, but I hated the bassline. I felt like it really took away from the awesome pianos you had going on because it was coming in at a speed that just felt very irregular. But don't take that too critically because it really was pretty unique and great overall.
