I'm sure she loved it. You have a very cool techno style and I particularly like the volume leveling. The background melodies being so fast and the focus of the song against that just blends really spectacularly. Nice work.

Thank you very much kind sir!

Very cool

I liked it alot! I think if you wanted to gain some length, you shouldnt be afraid to extend the sections such as starting at :50 where it's fairly silent; it's an ambient piece so i think that "emptiness" (pardon the pun) would work well there.
Great work!

Chaos United

Never heard such irregular melody brought together to sound so great.
It feels random and yet coherent at the same time. Truly an awesome piece.

AliceMako responds:

All three devices used are running at a different pitch and tempo so your right on the mark about irregularity, i matched them by ear so i could only hope they'd fit and judging by the responses i guess they do. ( i can allways be wrong, you get that from hearing the same thing over and over as i'm sure you'll know)

Thanks and glad you like <3

I loved it

The mixing is so good and the volume is perfect. Doesn't seem so important until you hear it done so right. Amazing song.

I found this pretty amazing because it feels uncommon. It's pretty unique, and I can also see why you'd have a hard time placing it in a genre, but its so cool.

Thank you very much for the feedback! Yeah, I had no idea where to put it. (>.<)
I'm so glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun with it. Looking back, I can hear a lot of mistakes, but I'm getting better! :)

Cool

My only gripe is that it's a bit repetitive after about the halfway point. But I thought it was pretty good, and I enjoyed the vinyl static effect that becomes prevalent at certain points. Nice job, keep experimenting with that new program. ^__^

SucoVidya responds:

Thankyou.

I have recently been experimenting with making a more 'bland, so to speak, insert for the 16 bars that I will lay vocals over; so i can then experiment with flow and rhythm over the beat to make the vocal bring the track to life as opposed to the contrary.

I appreciate the feedback.

Very cool

I would love to write something like this. Your style is awesome here. My favorite part is the volume dips and crescendos. Top quality stuff here.

CreamingStar responds:

I greatly appreciate the comment! I was trying to push my style here with some irregular rhythms and some non-classical instruments. Overall I ended up having a lot of fun with it. Thank you very much for listening, and as well, thank you for the kind comments!

Loved it

The instruments compliment each other well, and I think your percussion has a particularly cool sound. Not much to criticize, except might have lowered some of the other instruments slightly when the heavy guitarwork came in to emphasize it more. Very cool song.

Shatter,

Thanks for taking the time to write. Re-balancing the tune to shift focus is a good idea. Normally my mixes and balance aren't that great to begin with, but "Input Batteries" is one of my most recent attempts as of this writing. I'll keep this sort of thing in mind!

Thanks for listening!

Well

I don't necessarily agree with 2012. But I think the feeling is powerful. And even if it's not then, we could bring the end upon ourselves at some point. "Soon" means alot of different things to alot of different people.

That being said, I favorited this. I think it's spectacular. Especially when it goes into the softer section around 3:38. It's a real masterpiece. I don't think it would have hurt to up the master volume on the piece just a tad, but thats a preference more of a compositional choice. I love your instrument choices and how they work together. Fantastic work.

i very much appreciate your opinions thank you for taking the time to listen :)

Awesome

Frenetic and powerful. I actually really didn't mind the tone so much. It works for this kind of piece, maybe just some slight adjustments on the filtering and you'd have just what you want. It's close. I think my biggest suggestion would be to work on the percussion. The bass pedal sounds awesome in my opinion, but that snare is so weak and hollow tone-wise.
I think it's a great start to something if you chose to continue it.
Nice job.
