You got 2 zero votes on this. -__- It's an intro people.
It's a frenetic, different piece with some interesting dnb percussion.
I enjoyed it. I think you would have benefited by having a section or two where that main craziness ceases for a bit and some melody is introduced. I like it though. Especially the ending, where the other instruments almost create something melodic but yet not really. The piece feels like an ink blot where you're going to hear something different depending on who you are, but thats my take. lol
Nice work.

I did? Bless their hearts and godspeed to them.

Anyway, glad you like and thanks a truckload for your thoughtfull review, now i
have some input if i ever decide to turn this into a full song cus as far as i could
tell this is a lot of pure weird to work with <3

Awesome

I thought it was very well executed. Your orchestra-work is spectacular. And I enjoyed your percussion, but something felt off about it to me. I'm not sure if it's just the filtering, like I wish it was sharper; listening more I think I just wish there was more behind that bass pedal. It's a bit hollow and therefore undramatic for me. But that would be my only slight criticism. It's an amazing piece. And I like the concept for it as well.

Thanks for the awesome review.

I worked really hard on this track, and I'm glad you got a kick out of it. I don't have very many resources when it comes to drums, so I had to use loops from a pack.

Either way, again I thank you for the kind words and the kind rating.

Spectacular

Nonstop energy. I also think its mastered really well. The effects you have going on around 2:00 are amazing. Can't think of anything to offer as criticism or advice. Except maybe look for a female vocalist to throw some random vocalizing over some segments. xD It's such a great track, there isn't much you can do for improvement, and I really mean that.
One of the best trance songs I've heard in awhile.

Woa thanx man, i'm happy to know that you loved it :D

lmao!

At one point this was a .58?? This is hysterical. I would love to use this as my voicemail, except my mother would probably have a heartattack.
Great track.

How did this review slip past my ever watching eyse? Thanks for the review! When I used to work at Blockbuster, I'd call myself and put the phone on speakerphone so everyone in line could listen to it. As you could guess, it received very mixed opinions, which if I were to give them numerical scores, they probably equated out to a .58. Haha! Anyways, glad you enjoyed it.

Excellent

Love the soloing style and I think 3:00 is my favorite part.
Gives off that true, spontaneous jazz feel and that's the piece's strength.
I'm not sure if the amount of distortion is right, I might have opted for a bit less to highlight all the notes, but it sounds great regardless.

GodBlock responds:

I was thinking that myself.. about the distortion but it's done now, if I play over this again which I probably will I'll record it with a bit less and see what it sounds like.

Thanks for the review and I'm glad you like it.

Cute

I can picture this in a racing game. Anyway, I liked it; it develops nicely and isn't too repetitive. It is slightly, but you organize the instruments in varying orders which helps. I think 1:25 is mixed very well and it just sounds fluid, as opposed to the section before where I think the lead is a bit too loud and drowns out the other sounds. And the major change towards the end is really cool.
I like it, great work.

Glad you liked it :) thanks dude :D

Absolutely Amazing

This is by far the best thing I've heard from you so far. It's incredibly creative--I think both songs have a sort of mystifying effect to quote the reviewer below me. And when you put them together, there's a certain awkwardness and darkness that gets highlighted, as I think both songs have that "playful, but on the verge of going dark at any moment." You really brought that out, and the instrument choices were perfect as well.
Just amazing all around.

Thank you so much for a listening to a my song!!! lol you can't give an impression of mario very well in typing. I am glad you liked it. :D

Nice

Its a cute little tune and it gets the job done. I think this would work nicely in a Christmas flash too so I'd hope someone picks it up and does that.
I think you should experiment with your drum kit a bit though--it's a bit standard sounding. Perhaps put some sort of effect on it to get it away from that "preset" drum loop sound. It's fine here but just for future work I mean so you don't find yourself stifled by similar percussion throughout.
Awesome Christmas song. ^___^

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

yeah... I've never been to good with percussion, it is definately one of the things I need to focus on. I am glad you liked the song though thanks for the review!!!

Pleasant

I agree with Chronamut on the trumpets. But it doesn't really bother me too much. I think at :52 though, if you aren't going to solo some new instrument or something, you should really bump up that background melody's volume. I think that's the empty part for me--and I thint that would also emphasize that pretty quieter segment after.
Overall, I really liked it, and great job.

You're right.

I try to ease things in too much.

Thanks for the review!

That repeating pattern

is awesome. Whenever I write a piano song, I try to do that in my song at least once because I love the sound of a repeated rhythm with a constantly changing lead, and the majority of this song is just that, so it just naturally appeals to me.
Great work. As for any advice, maybe stagger the volume of certain random notes--I haven't tried this yet, but i plan to on my next piano composition. I think it would be more realistic since people aren't machines and can't always play every note with the same strength, some will be lighter than others so the volume should constantly fluctuate slightly, you know?
Awesome composition.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Life would be much easier if you could record with this quality right? I did write it after all, I can play this on the piano. Thanks for the review. :D
